Display
2.3 Controlling the Display
Youcontrolthe displayusing the cursorand controlkeys.You startall
operations fromthe defaultscreen,thatis the defaultsoft keys aredisplayed:
Chart
Radar
Whenyou have completedanactionusingthesoft keys,pressENTER or
CLEAR to returnto the defaultscreen;you mayneedtopress ENTER or
CLEAR severaltimes toback-track through thesoft keyhierarchy.
Note:If you have set up your systemso that the defaultsoftkeysarenot dis-
playedallthe time,press any soft keyto display thelabels.
Theremainderofthissection describeshow to selectthe mode of operation
andswitch half-screenwindowson/off. The followingsectionsdescribehow
tosetup the display fortheRadarand for theChart.
Thecontrols aresummarizedinthefold-outillustrationonpages 2-11
and2-12 .
Selecting the Mode of Operation
You use the DISPLAY key to selectthe full-screenmode.
Ifthedatais availableon your system,thefollowingmodes (describedon
OperatingModeson page 1-6)can be selected:
•Radar
• Chartand Radar/ChartOverlay
•Datalog
TheDISPLAY key also accessesthe soft keysfor the half-screenwindow
options.
Note:If your

Owner’sHandbook suppliedwith yourFishfinderfor operatingdetails.
