Renaming an existing group
You can change the name of an existing waypoint group:
1. Select the required group in from the GROUP LIST and press RENAME GROUP.
The group name is displayed in a dialog box
2. Press EDIT GROUP NAME
3. Use the trackpad or the rotary control to edit the information as required.
4. Press OK to save the new name and return to the GROUP LIST.
Press CANCEL to revert to the original name.
Erasing a group
When a waypoint group is erased from the system, all of the waypoints in that group
will be erased. Ensure that any waypoints you want to keep are moved from a group
before you erase it.
1. From the GROUP LIST, select the group to be removed.
2. Press ERASE GROUP.
3. You will then be asked to confirm the removal of the group,
Press YES to confirm, or NO to cancel.
3.10How can I control how waypoints are displayed?
When you have placed many waypoints on your system, it may become difficult to
easily interpret chart or radar information. This is particularly the case if you have many
waypoints in a small area. There are a number of ways that you can control the display
of waypoints and waypoint information in chart and radar windows. These are:
Show or hide waypoints belonging to a specific group.
Show or hide waypoints with a particular symbol.
Show or hide all of the waypoint names.
Show or hide the index of a waypoint within a route - chart windows only (see page
4-40).
With a chart or radar application active, use the PRESENTATION and then the SHOW/
HIDE WAYPOINTS soft keys to access the waypoint display controls.
