WiththeEvolutionsystem,thereareanumberofimportant

exceptionstothehandlingofmultiplesourcesofcertaintypes

ofdata.

Specically:

•Headingdata—Ifanon-Evolutionsourceofheadingdatais

designatedbytheuser,theEvolutionsystemcomponentswill

combinethisheadingdatawithitsowngyroandaccelerometer

data,andthenusetheimprovedheadingdata.Thiscombined

headingdatawillalsobeavailabletootherequipmentonthe

SeaTalk

bus.

•Rudderangledata—Wheretherearemultiplesources

ofrudderreferenceinformation,theEvolutionsystem

componentswillignorerudderangleinputsfromanyrudder

referenceunitsthatareNOTconnecteddirectlytoan

EvolutionACU.
